macie, macie - put your lightest foot in front of you
with your hand on my belt i did what you were gonna do
and this is the night i realize i'm broken
it makes me feel good, makes me feel pretty
so spit in my mouth and me baby
take a step outside, put your feet on the ground
you said if you left now he won't hear a sound
this is the time i'm bustin' out, i'm bustin' out
we sat on the bus in womens clothing
i said you should be in school, i should be recording
i should be recording.

This album is one of my favorite albums because of how raw and pure it sounds. The true emotion that comes from Jay's performance is more than believable and it's what helps Crywank stick as a proper musical icon. 10/10 would recommend to everyone if they were more than willing to give it a try. saintjimmy57
Introspective, homespun folk tunes from John Donne that feel informed by the sugary bleakness of '80s and '90s indie pop. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 1, 2023

Crywank with extra steps. I love these artists and nothing can take away from the fact that they have undeniably wonderful songwriting abilities but they might be better off having a engineer/producer do the recording. Still a fascinating listen with interesting experimentation and more lo-fi than Crywank had ever been. it's got a unique kind of charm to it being as d.i.y as music can possibly get but also holds it back a bit.
