mother - i'm calling for you mother
you've been gone for too long, why'd you go?
is this what you think it means to be responsible?
hospital - you stayed in the hospital
trying to convince the nurse to give you sedatives
you said, "i'll give anything to make this all go away"
baby love - i'm singing to you baby love
please don't tell me we're giving up
i need you to be strong for the both of us
i'm a little baby bird, being pushed out of its nest
climbing back up the trees admitting
i'm weaker than the rest
little honey pie, i'm broken but i'll try
to fix you along with me tonight
i won't stop until we're fine

This album is one of my favorite albums because of how raw and pure it sounds. The true emotion that comes from Jay's performance is more than believable and it's what helps Crywank stick as a proper musical icon. 10/10 would recommend to everyone if they were more than willing to give it a try. saintjimmy57
Introspective, homespun folk tunes from John Donne that feel informed by the sugary bleakness of '80s and '90s indie pop. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 1, 2023

Crywank with extra steps. I love these artists and nothing can take away from the fact that they have undeniably wonderful songwriting abilities but they might be better off having a engineer/producer do the recording. Still a fascinating listen with interesting experimentation and more lo-fi than Crywank had ever been. it's got a unique kind of charm to it being as d.i.y as music can possibly get but also holds it back a bit.
