tonight will be like last night
if it wasn’t we wouldn’t be here
you said - i’d rather be dead
than live with regret / then you killed me
you left me a note that said
i wish we had just gone to bed
instead we broke the rules
all that i have left
are thoughts that tell me “this could have worked”
because we both think the best part of that whole song
was skipping ahead to nicki minaj
and i refuse to let that go
out of all the things you left behind
this photograph shows the things you like
and i will not make the same mistake twice

This album is one of my favorite albums because of how raw and pure it sounds. The true emotion that comes from Jay's performance is more than believable and it's what helps Crywank stick as a proper musical icon. 10/10 would recommend to everyone if they were more than willing to give it a try. saintjimmy57
Introspective, homespun folk tunes from John Donne that feel informed by the sugary bleakness of '80s and '90s indie pop. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 1, 2023

Crywank with extra steps. I love these artists and nothing can take away from the fact that they have undeniably wonderful songwriting abilities but they might be better off having a engineer/producer do the recording. Still a fascinating listen with interesting experimentation and more lo-fi than Crywank had ever been. it's got a unique kind of charm to it being as d.i.y as music can possibly get but also holds it back a bit.
